Yuncheng, Shanxi, is home to 102 National Key Cultural Heritage Sites, ranking first among all prefecture-level cities in China in terms of number.On January 30, the Yuncheng Yanhu District Cultural Heritage Protection Center issued an announcement regarding public participation in the preservation and utilization of cultural heritage buildings, and released a list of 90 cultural heritage sites available for adoption.

(“The Civilization Project” for the adoption of cultural heritage buildings is a major initiative launched by the Shanxi Provincial Government in March 2017, serving as a key measure to encourage and guide the participation of social forces in cultural heritage protection. Following review by cultural heritage authorities, the list of cultural heritage sites available for adoption is hereby announced. We welcome active participation from all sectors of society.)
